Job Requirements
- Exhibit strong customer service skills including multi-tasking
- ability to work overnight and operate independently
- previous night audit experience is a plus
- be very detail oriented
- be a problem solver capable of making well thought of decisions when dealing with guest concerns overnight
- open to cross-training and assisting in other departments as necessary
Job Qualifications
- Provide the highest quality of customer service at all times
- check guests in and out efficiently and courteously
- assist with guest requests and complaints promptly and empathetically
- be knowledgeable of Marriott Bonvoy Rewards program and promotions
- develop thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, rates, amenities, and selling strategies
- be knowledgeable of local area offerings including shopping, entertainment, and dining
- post charges, billing, collect payments, and handle cash procedures
- complete and balance night audit reports accurately
- perform periodic hotel security and cleanliness checks
- assist with breakfast setup when needed
Job Duties
- Maintain and promote hospitality at all times
- welcome and serve guests in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner both face-to-face and on the phone
- provide information about hotel amenities and local area
- handle all front desk responsibilities including check-in and check-out
- post charges to guest folios and collect payments
- process night audit reports in compliance with company policies
- assist with early morning coffee requests and breakfast setup
- conduct periodic hotel walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and security
- assist other departments through cross-training
- complete any other related tasks assigned by the manager
