Job Description

The Marriott Hotel is a global leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences, unparalleled service, and luxurious accommodations. As part of the Marriott International family, this hotel upholds a legacy of hospitality excellence that spans decades, striving to create memorable stays for travelers from around the world. With a reputation deeply rooted in quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction, Marriott Hotels stand as a premier choice for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel offers a vibrant work environment where employees are encouraged to develop professionally and provide hospitality that exceeds expectations. The establishment prides itself on its warm, welcoming atmosphere and diverse community, which fosters respect, integrity, and teamwork among its staff.

The Night Audit Agent role at Marriott Hotel is a pivotal position that plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operational flow during the overnight shift. This role requires individuals who are not only attentive and detail-oriented but also demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently during the quieter hours of the night. The Night Audit Agent is responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality, serving guests with courtesy and efficiency, whether face-to-face or over the phone. Acting as the first point of contact during late hours, the agent ensures guests receive a warm welcome while providing comprehensive information about the hotel’s amenities and the local area. This role involves managing all front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, handling reservations, posting charges to guest folios, and processing payments while adhering to Marriott's policies and procedures.

Furthermore, the Night Audit Agent is charged with conducting a nightly audit — a critical financial reconciliation task that involves completing, balancing, and reporting all audit reports related to the hotel’s outlets such as guest rooms, banquet services, bar, and market. The role expects the agent to be proactive, capable of problem-solving, and a reliable decision-maker when addressing guest concerns during the overnight shift. The Night Audit Agent is also expected to cross-train and assist other departments as needed, which provides a dynamic and enriching work experience. Beyond administrative duties, the agent occasionally supports the early morning operations by assisting with coffee requests and breakfast setups, as well as conducting periodic hotel walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and security.

This employment opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a customer-service-driven environment and enjoy interacting with diverse guests and team members. Marriott values professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The position offers a unique chance to be part of a prestigious brand, contributing directly to the overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence. As a Night Audit Agent, individuals can develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, gain valuable multi-departmental experience, and grow within the hospitality industry. Marriott Hotels emphasize work-life balance and provide competitive compensation coupled with various employee benefits to support career growth and personal well-being.
