The Night Auditor role at Olympia Hospitality is a vital overnight position designed to maximize revenue and enhance guest experiences through attentive and accurate service. Working typical hours from 10pm to 6am or 11pm to 7am, the Night Auditor ensures seamless operations during the overnight shift. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with accounting principles
- prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to work overnight shifts from 10pm to 6am or 11pm to 7am
- proficiency in keyboarding and computer technology, including email, MS Word, Excel, and hotel-related systems
- excellent communication skills
- high attention to detail
- ability to maintain composure under pressure
- willingness to cross train in accounting or hotel-related areas
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience of accounting principles
- prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent work experience
Job Duties
- Work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas
- perform guest services functions such as check guests in and out, take reservations, and wake-up calls
- audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports
- prepare and distribute daily reports according to hotel standards such as Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, and Tax Reports
- prepare and distribute month-end reports
- audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis
- prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
- perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing system functions as required
- keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events and deviations of policies or procedures
- respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt
