Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- computer knowledge and skills
- flexible to work long and late hours including overnight shifts
- effective communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize
- friendly and service-oriented attitude
- maintain confidentiality
- ability to work independently
- attend scheduled meetings and trainings
- maintain personal appearance and grooming standards
- comply with hotel policies and regulations
- problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- guest service experience preferred
- computer knowledge and skills required
- flexible and able to work long hours sometimes
- able to work a late/overnight shift
- maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- effective communication skills both verbal and written with all levels of employees and guests
- effective listening and problem clarification skills
- able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing the proper uniform and nametag
- comply with hotel standards and regulations
- effective at handling and solving problems
- able to understand and apply complex information from various sources
- ability to cross-train in other hotel-related areas
- maintain confidentiality of information
- show initiative including anticipating guest or operational needs
- perform other duties as requested by management
Job Duties
- work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas
- prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
- perform guest service functions such as check guests in/out take reservations and wake-up calls
- audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports
- prepare and distribute necessary daily reports such as daily operating report discount programs tax reports according to hotel standards
- audit and reconcile all front desk and food and beverage cashier's work
