Job Description

Our establishment is a well-regarded hotel known for providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards in hospitality services. With a strong commitment to comfort and customer satisfaction, we ensure that every visitor enjoys a welcoming atmosphere paired with top-tier accommodations. As a bustling hotel, our team is dedicated to offering seamless services, from the moment guests make reservations until the end of their stay. We operate with a focus on professionalism, safety, and guest-centric approaches that set us apart in the hospitality industry.

The Night Auditor role is a pivotal position within our hotel’s operations, centered on managing the front desk during overnight hours. This full-time position demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can expertly balance guest service with critical financial duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, performing nightly audits, balancing financial accounts including house accounts and credit cards, and handling guest checkouts with accuracy and efficiency. The Night Auditor ensures that all night audit reports are completed in a timely manner and that all hotel procedures and policies, including those related to safety and security, are diligently followed.

Beyond financial reconciliation, this position entails providing outstanding customer service throughout the guests’ stay, handling reservations and modifications, and executing hotel operator and concierge duties. The role requires someone with exceptional communication skills who can professionally manage guest complaints and deliver courteous service, contributing to maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and proficiency with basic math and financial information interpretation are crucial for success in this role.

This position also involves security responsibilities such as conducting regular security walks and implementing safety policies in line with OSHA, state, and federal guidelines. The Night Auditor promotes a collaborative work environment by coordinating with other departments to maintain room status and repairs, and by assisting in training new staff. Knowledge of hotel products and services, including food and beverage and recreational amenities, is important to support guests fully.

Overall, the Night Auditor is a vital member of our team, combining financial acuity, guest relations expertise, and operational knowledge to ensure smooth overnight operations. It is an ideal role for candidates who are service-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of maintaining composure and professionalism during late-night shifts. We offer a supportive environment that values safety, compliance, and excellence in hospitality delivery.
