Job Description

Hyatt is a globally recognized hospitality brand known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and a welcoming environment. The company operates a network of upscale hotels and resorts worldwide, catering to both business and leisure travelers with a focus on comfort, luxury, and convenience. Hyatt emphasizes employee development and delivering quality services through well-trained staff, modern amenities, and innovative hospitality solutions. The organization values teamwork, integrity, and personalized service, making it a preferred employer in the hotel industry.

The role of Night Auditor at Hyatt involves managing the front desk operations during the overnight shift, typically from 11pm to 7am. This position is essential in ensuring smooth hotel operations during the night and involves a combination of accounting responsibilities and guest service duties. The Night Auditor prepares and balances daily reports, registers guests, manages reservations, and performs security rounds to monitor the property. It is a role that demands attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Individuals in this role are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records by balancing revenue from various sources such as movie rentals, telephone postings, valet services, and food and beverage sales. They also ensure all front office computer systems and cashiering duties conform to Hyatt's standards. This position requires at least one year of progressive experience in hotels or a related field and a high school diploma or equivalent. Though the employer is often a third-party management company at certain Hyatt locations, the standards and procedures to follow are consistent with Hyatt's brand policies. This opportunity offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, develop multitasking capabilities, and contribute to memorable guest experiences during the night hours.
