Job Requirements
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College course work in related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot guest issues and respond to emergencies
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Must be able to convey information clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace
- Must have ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data
- Must be able to work in a self-managed environment
- Must be effective at listening and clarifying concerns
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations
- Initiate and complete the End of Day process
- Run all reports as required for Food and Beverage audit
- Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily
- Balance the day’s work including movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, server’s and desk agent’s paperwork
- Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures
- Maintain Front Office computer system operation
- Fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Ensure periodic security checks of building and guest corridors
- Handle and follow through on all guest requests during the shift
- Follow safety and emergency procedures
- Maintain proper record keeping
- Complete initial direct bills daily and place on Property Accountant’s desk
- Maintain radio contact with associates
- Have working knowledge of security procedures
- Prepare and distribute Daily Flash Report as needed
- Transfer master or house accounts as necessary
- Distribute work such as revenue printouts and credit vouchers as directed
- Train new Night Auditors as requested
- Run morning reports according to procedures
- Assign delivery of newspapers and Express Check-Outs
- Ensure nightly walk-through includes removal of service trays and tidying areas
- Handle Lost and Found items according to standards
- Complete management reports timely
- Assist guests with food orders and serve items as applicable
- Attend management meetings
- Perform other duties as requested by management
