Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge or experience of accounting principles
  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work overnight shifts from 10pm to 6am or 11pm to 7am
  • Ability to walk, stand, and key data for extended periods
  • Willingness to cross train in related accounting or hotel areas
  • Ability to maintain composure and attention to detail under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge or experience of accounting principles
  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to provide high level customer service
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and computer technology, including email, MS Word, Excel, and other hotel-related systems
  • Aptitude with numbers and data analysis

Job Duties

  • Work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
  • Be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas
  • Perform guest services functions such as check guests in/out, take reservations, wake-up calls, etc.
  • Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports
  • Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports according to hotel standards
  • Prepare and distribute month-end reports
  • Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis
  • Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required
  • Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events or deviations of policies or procedures
  • Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt
