Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests
  • complete night audit reports
  • balance accounts including house accounts and credit cards
  • settle guest accounts upon departure
  • make and modify reservations
  • perform hotel operator and concierge duties
  • conduct security walks
  • set up lobby coffee service and breakfast
  • handle and resolve guest complaints
  • communicate effectively and maintain shift logbook and reports
  • carry out front desk responsibilities including cash control and deposits
  • schedule wake-up calls
  • manage key control
  • process lost and found items
  • assist in training new staff
  • promote hotel products and services
  • ensure room status is up-to-date
  • implement safety and security policies
