Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or audit role preferred
- Ability to process financial transactions accurately
- Proficient in phone system operation
- Ability to handle guest reservations and inquiries
- Must be able to work overnight shifts
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of hotel security protocols
- Good communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Job Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Proficient in handling credit card transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Verify each front desk shift's transactions
- Process credit card transactions
- Post tax charges to all guest folios
- Finalize transactions completed during the day
- Create and/or print required reports
- File or transmit reports as directed
- Prepare folios for departing guests
- Handle hotel phone system, transfer calls, and take messages
- Take, modify and cancel guest reservations
- Verify, balance and review hotel suite availability
- Check in/out guests
- Perform express checkout duties
- Post telephone and miscellaneous charges to guest accounts
- Administer guest payment policies
- Responsible for shift cash transactions
- Maintain hotel key security system
- Administer guest safe deposit boxes
- Know hotel emergency procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests
- Communicate facilities and services at check-in
- Notify housekeeping and maintenance of reported problems
- Carry out management requests capable of being performed
