The company emphasizes creating a welcoming environment for all guests while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality. Azul Hospitality is dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting staff development, ensuring team members are equipped to succeed in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
We are currently seeking a Night Auditor to join our front office team. This position is integral to the seamless operation of the hotel during the night shift, acting as the Manager On Duty (MOD) during nighttime hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording, processing, and analyzing the daily closing figures, ensuring that all credit transactions are balanced and accurately reported. In addition to financial auditing duties, this role provides essential guest services including registration, checkout, cashiering, and making timely guest wake-up calls.
This role demands a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills capable of managing cash and credit transactions, maintaining a house bank, and generating daily operational reports such as Daily Reports, Comp Reports for food and beverage as well as rooms, Pace Reports, and other departmental summaries. The Night Auditor will also serve as the PBX operator, handling incoming and outgoing communications efficiently, and providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries regarding hotel policies, local attractions, and amenities.
A key aspect of this position is the ability to greet and welcome guests warmly, process their registrations and checkouts effectively, and offer helpful information or upselling opportunities to enhance their stay. The Night Auditor must ensure all audit procedures set forth by the hotel and company are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner. Additionally, coordinating with various hotel departments is crucial to prepare for the morning shift and notify management of overnight activities or incidents.
This role requires handling occasional physical tasks involving lifting, maneuvering equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized lobby area. Proficiency with computer programs including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key systems, and POS is essential. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess excellent leadership capabilities, and excel in issue resolution with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
At Azul Hospitality, we value employees who contribute positively to our team environment and uphold our grooming and attendance standards. This full-time position offers an opportunity to grow within a respected hospitality company, providing rewarding work in an ever-changing, guest-focused environment.
