The Night Attendant position is a key role responsible for the safety, security, and comfort of guests during overnight hours. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations during the night shift by handling guest services, supporting property cleanliness, and representing the company with professionalism and care.

The Night Attendant will conduct courtesy calls within 30 minutes of guest check-in to ensure guest satisfaction and address any immediate concerns. This role involves assisting guests with requests and complaints during non-business hours, managing check-ins and check-outs, and addressing lockout or lost key situations. The attendant will also contribute to the upkeep of communal areas such as laundry rooms by keeping them clean and organized, as well as folding linen and blankets. Providing a visible presence in the lobby and front entrance area through courtesy patrols is also a critical responsibility for ensuring guest safety and comfort.

This position requires a commitment to exceptional customer service, maintaining guest privacy and security at all times. The Night Attendant may be tasked with processing payments, posting charges in the property management system, and completing shift reports and checklists to ensure smooth operational handovers. Maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance reflects the company’s professional standards and dedication to quality.

Hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory, and all candidates must be willing to contribute positively to the guest experience during overnight shifts.

Job Duties

  • Conduct courtesy calls within 30 minutes after guest check-in
  • assist guests with requests and complaints after regular office hours
  • handle check-ins and check-outs and make guestroom keys for lost or lockouts
  • assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry rooms and guest laundry
  • clean, dry and fold linen, blankets, bedspreads, etc
  • provide courtesy patrol in lobby and front entrance area
  • ensure exceptional customer service to all guests while maintaining guest privacy and safety
  • compute bills, collect payments, make changes for guests, post charges to property management system
  • complete department checklists and reports for relevant shifts
  • maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • perform other related duties as assigned
