In addition to the direct deliveries, contractors may arrange for subcontractors to perform their deliveries during periods of absence, provided contractual obligations are met. The role requires a valid driver's license and automobile insurance if deliveries are conducted via a motor route. When delivering, having a cell phone is advantageous for navigation in low-visibility early morning hours.
