Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- work in temperatures less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of retail experience including at least 12 months of team leadership experience
- advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management
- food safety certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months
- excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills
- capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner
- advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures
- proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance and managing inventory
- demonstrated decision-making ability and leadership skills
- proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications
Job Duties
