As a family-owned enterprise that has thrived for three generations, The Sunny continues a legacy of hospitality excellence on one of South Florida's most treasured beachfront locales. This refreshed hotel combines thoughtful architectural design with a dynamic food and beverage program, encompassing multiple innovative dining concepts and vibrant social spaces that cater to both hotel attendees and the local community alike. The Sunny Hotel's commitment to providing a refreshed guest experience and an ambitious culinary vision has positioned it as a landmark on the South Florida coastline, promising memorable stays and exceptional experiences.
Julene is the signature restaurant within The Sunny Hotel and serves as a foundational element of its food and beverage offerings. Designed to be both refined and approachable, Julene offers a warm, neighborhood-style dining atmosphere that highlights familiar American cuisine prepared to the highest standards. The restaurant emphasizes comfort and quality, focusing on dishes that guests crave while ensuring each plate is executed with care and confidence. Julene aims to be a lively and inviting gathering spot, welcoming both hotel guests and local diners seeking excellent food in an engaging environment.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join Julene's opening team. This role is essential to the culinary team and contributes significantly to the successful operation of the restaurant. The Line Cook will assist the kitchen chefs and support kitchen staff across various stations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of food meet the established outlet standards. This position requires flexibility, skill, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant or a comparable setting. A strong ability to translate recipes into delicious dishes, coupled with competent knife skills, is crucial. Excellent communication skills in English, along with polished appearance and demeanor, are important attributes for this role.
The Line Cook will work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating adaptability and reliability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team at a premier oceanfront hotel, contributing to a vibrant culinary program and enriching the guest experience. Employees at The Sunny Hotel benefit from a robust range of offerings through its management by the esteemed Davidson Hospitality Group, including competitive benefits like medical, dental, vision coverage, and more. Joining the culinary team at Julene means becoming part of a well-supported, innovative hospitality company focused on excellence and growth.
