The job requires familiarity with a variety of technologies including Cisco systems, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, Windows Server 2019, HBSS, ACAS, SQL, SolarWinds, and Splunk. The position demands an active Secret Level security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work, along with CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE), an associate degree or equivalent experience, and onsite presence at McChord Air Force Base.

The working environment supports a 24/7 operation which may include shift work, weekends, and physical activities such as equipment handling. GDIT fosters a culture of growth, support, and rewards by offering employees AI-powered career management tools, an internal mobility team, comprehensive benefits packages including wellness programs and 401K plans, and a military-friendly, innovative workplace culture.
