Job Requirements
- Must have an active Secret Level security clearance
- must hold CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II certification or higher
- must have an associate degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience required
- must be onsite at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Washington
- able to work shift work and weekends
- ability to perform physical tasks related to equipment handling
Job Qualifications
- Active Secret Level security clearance
- CompTIA IAT 8570 Level II or higher certification such as Security+ CE
- associate degree or equivalent years of experience
- 1-3 years of related experience
- working knowledge of Cisco systems, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, Windows Server 2019, HBSS, ACAS, SQL, SolarWinds, and Splunk preferred
- strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- ability to work shift work and weekends as required
Job Duties
- Maintain Tier 1 ADCS systems and subsystems
- perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- monitor on-site and remote locations
- terminate ADCS circuits at node points of presence
- report failures to government contract representatives
- coordinate system downtime with CAOC/ADS Comm Focal Point
- perform additions, changes, and relocations of ADCS equipment
- provide end-user support and training
- troubleshoot hardware, software, and network interconnectivity issues
- operate and maintain communication/computer systems and networks
- install communication/computer systems
- administer network/cyber security policies
- maintain current knowledge of relevant technology
- participate in special projects
- perform assigned additional duties such as Vehicle Monitor or Site Safety representative
