Job Requirements
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Completion of U.S. government background investigation
- Ability to travel including air travel
- Full-time availability for 40 hours per week with flexible schedule
- Experience in IT systems design, development, and support
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required
Job Qualifications
- BS degree in information systems technology or computer science
- At least three years of experience with DoD IT systems
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
- Experience with Virtual Machine Ware server administration
- Knowledge of DoD security standards such as DIACAP or RMF
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce compliance documentation and manage certification processes
Job Duties
- Design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software systems
- Assist with development of web-based IT management and portal applications
- Perform Virtual Machine Ware server administration including high availability solutions
- Provide help desk management and customer support for technology networks
- Manage IT trouble tickets and assist with continuous acquisition lifecycle support applications
- Assist with installation of communications cabling services including Cat 5 and fiber cable
- Develop and produce documentation for certification of classified and unclassified network systems
- Review computer systems and software designs for security risks and usability
- Resolve integration issues related to new system implementations
- Advise government decision makers on computer systems security and improvements
