Job Requirements

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
  • Completion of U.S. government background investigation
  • Ability to travel including air travel
  • Full-time availability for 40 hours per week with flexible schedule
  • Experience in IT systems design, development, and support
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required

Job Qualifications

  • BS degree in information systems technology or computer science
  • At least three years of experience with DoD IT systems
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Experience with Virtual Machine Ware server administration
  • Knowledge of DoD security standards such as DIACAP or RMF
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce compliance documentation and manage certification processes

Job Duties

  • Design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software systems
  • Assist with development of web-based IT management and portal applications
  • Perform Virtual Machine Ware server administration including high availability solutions
  • Provide help desk management and customer support for technology networks
  • Manage IT trouble tickets and assist with continuous acquisition lifecycle support applications
  • Assist with installation of communications cabling services including Cat 5 and fiber cable
  • Develop and produce documentation for certification of classified and unclassified network systems
  • Review computer systems and software designs for security risks and usability
  • Resolve integration issues related to new system implementations
  • Advise government decision makers on computer systems security and improvements
