Job Requirements
- Active registered nurse license or eligibility in Washington
- Minimum of two years NICU nursing experience
- Current certification in neonatal resuscitation program (NRP)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours weekly
- Proven capability to handle high-stress neonatal care environment
- Willingness to relocate to Seattle for the 13-week assignment
Job Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse license in the state of Washington or eligibility to obtain
- Certification in neonatal resuscitation program (NRP)
- Experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to variable schedules
Job Duties
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit
- Monitor and assess patients continuously to detect changes in condition
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate and support families regarding newborn care and medical conditions
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
