Job Requirements

  • Active registered nurse license or eligibility in Washington
  • Minimum of two years NICU nursing experience
  • Current certification in neonatal resuscitation program (NRP)
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours weekly
  • Proven capability to handle high-stress neonatal care environment
  • Willingness to relocate to Seattle for the 13-week assignment

Job Qualifications

  • Valid registered nurse license in the state of Washington or eligibility to obtain
  • Certification in neonatal resuscitation program (NRP)
  • Experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to variable schedules

Job Duties

  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit
  • Monitor and assess patients continuously to detect changes in condition
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate and support families regarding newborn care and medical conditions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
