Job Description
Rosen Hotels & Resorts is one of Florida's most respected hospitality companies, known for its diverse and friendly workplace that values individuality and innovative ideas. With a team of over 3,000 associates, the company thrives on teamwork and ingenuity, creating an environment where employees can grow, innovate, and contribute to the commercial success of its properties. Rosen Hotels & Resorts operates a portfolio of three convention hotels in Orlando, a premier destination for conferences, meetings, and large-scale events. These hotels are renowned for their excellent amenities, strategic locations, and exceptional customer service, making them preferred venues for national and regional groups alike.
The role of National Sales Manager at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is a high-visibility, strategically important position designed for an accomplished hospitality sales professional with extensive experience in group sales for convention hotels. This role focuses on driving revenue across multiple properties by building and maintaining strong national relationships with high-value corporate clients, meeting planners, and associations. The National Sales Manager will serve as a key contributor to the commercial success of the portfolio by partnering closely with senior leadership, shaping sales strategy, and owning relationships with high-value national accounts.
The position demands a leader who excels at managing complex sales cycles, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the full sales process from lead generation through event execution. The National Sales Manager will also represent the portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements to expand its market presence continuously. Strong client engagement is essential, including conducting tailored site inspections and designing memorable familiarization experiences that showcase the portfolio's versatility and strengths.
This role also involves supervising and developing a team of sales coordinators, collaborating with operations, catering, and group housing teams to ensure seamless event execution, and participating in leadership discussions that drive long-term growth initiatives. The National Sales Manager is expected to uphold company policies, including maintaining a drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free workplace. The position requires the ability to travel for client meetings and industry events approximately 10-20 percent of the time and entails lifting requirements of up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs infrequently.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hotel group sales experience with exposure to convention hotels, at least one year of leadership or supervisory experience, and a proven track record of achieving revenue goals by managing high-value, complex accounts. Strong relationship-building skills, technology proficiency with property management and digital sales tools, and excellent communication and organizational skills are crucial for success. A bachelor's degree in Sales, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred but equivalent professional experience will be considered. Legal authorization to work in the USA is required.
Rosen Hotels & Resorts offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and growth of its associates. The company provides affordable health and dental insurance, an on-site medical center, competitive compensation, holiday and birthday pay, paid vacation and personal days, tuition reimbursement, higher education scholarships, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Additional benefits include childcare financial assistance, hospitality and dining discounts, access to a Family Outreach Center, and excellent career growth opportunities.
Rosen Hotels & Resorts stands proudly as an equal opportunity employer committed to a drug- and nicotine-free workforce, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where employees can build rewarding careers in the hospitality industry.
