Job Description
HERITA USA is a distinguished player in the wine industry, renowned for its curated portfolio of premium Italian wines. As a respected importer and marketer, HERITA USA has established a strong footprint in the U.S. market, acting as a bridge between exceptional Italian vineyards and discerning American consumers. The company prides itself on a deep appreciation for Italian wine heritage and a commitment to quality, authenticity, and sustainable practices. HERITA USA operates within the highly dynamic and competitive beverage alcohol sector, where market knowledge, distribution acumen, and relationship-building skills are paramount to success.
The National Accounts On-Premise Manager (NAOP Manager) role at HERITA USA is a pivotal position designed to drive growth in the company’s wine portfolio within the on-premise channels across the North, South, and East regions of the United States. This role entails managing and expanding relationships with national accounts, distributors, and commercial teams to optimize market penetration and boost sales performance. The NAOP Manager plays a key role in executing both national and regional programs, working hand-in-hand with internal stakeholders and distributor partners to ensure that HERITA USA brands are effectively represented in competitive retail and hospitality environments.
This is a sales and marketing position ideal for detail-oriented professionals who harness data analytics and storytelling techniques to create impactful business strategies. The NAOP Manager’s responsibilities include conducting market surveys to ensure compliance with placement and pricing standards, leading distributor meetings, collaborating closely with district managers, and participating in trade market activities. Furthermore, the role demands strong business acumen to analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, and stay abreast of industry trends and competitive dynamics. This multifaceted involvement supports the long-term development of HERITA USA’s wine portfolio and enhances brand visibility and reputation in the marketplace.
The role requires an individual with strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of fostering strategic partnerships and gaining commitments from key stakeholders. The NAOP Manager must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, and presentation purposes, and possess a thorough understanding of the three-tier distribution system used in the beverage alcohol industry. Given the territory-based nature of the role, the candidate must reside within the designated territory and be willing to travel extensively within it for client engagement and corporate initiatives, including travel to Italy and the company’s headquarters as required. Physical capability to handle product shipments and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, are also essential.
HERITA USA offers a vibrant work environment where passion for wine and the thrill of growing a prestigious portfolio come together. The NAOP Manager is indispensable to the company’s mission of delivering exceptional Italian wines to the U.S. on-premise market with excellence and enthusiasm. This position presents an exciting opportunity for sales professionals seeking to elevate their career within the wine industry by leveraging relationship building, market insight, and analytical rigor to influence buying decisions and drive sustainable growth.
