Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in the bakery category in national accounts
  • comfort in hunting for corporate accounts
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • proven track record of being a dynamic 'hunter'

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Partner with corporate purchasing teams to acquire new business
  • proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in accounts
  • participate in a joint strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for sustainable growth
  • lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • manage all facets of the day to day account responsibilities
  • manage the broker network by utilizing budgets and expectations
  • keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
