Job Description
Napa Rose is an award-winning fine dining restaurant located within Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort. Known for its exceptional service, an elevated wine program, and exquisite California cuisine, Napa Rose offers guests an unforgettable dining experience enriched with world-class hospitality. The restaurant has recently undergone a stunning reimagination, featuring a bold new menu and an updated ambiance that continues to redefine the standards of fine dining in California. Nestled inside one of Disney's most prestigious properties, Napa Rose stands as a beacon of culinary excellence and Disney magic combined.
As part of the Disneyland Resort, a globally recognized entertainment and hospitality destination, Napa Rose plays a vital role in delivering magical moments that exceed guest expectations. The resort is recognized for its commitment to exceptional guest service and immersive experiences that create life-lasting memories. Working at Napa Rose means being part of a team that is passionate about hospitality and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The role of Wait Help I (Food Runner) at Napa Rose is essential in supporting the overall service team to ensure a seamless, coursed fine dining experience for every guest. This position involves working closely with servers and service leadership to deliver food promptly and accurately, maintain presentation standards, and anticipate guest needs with a polished and professional approach. The Food Runner acts as a crucial link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that each course is presented according to exact timing, temperature, and appearance specifications.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and have a genuine passion for delivering superior hospitality. The candidate should be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess strong teamwork and communication skills. They will support multiple aspects of the dining service, including table maintenance, pre-bussing, clearing, resetting, and assisting with beverage and wine service when needed. The position also demands a commitment to cleanliness, proper sanitation, and safety procedures, reflecting the high standards of the Disneyland Resort.
Candidates for this position must be at least 21 years old, given the nature of alcohol service, and able to perform physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods and lifting service items like trays, dishes, and glassware. Flexibility in scheduling is required, as shifts can begin early in the morning or extend late into the night. Napa Rose operates breakfast and dinner services with varying shift hours to accommodate guest needs and business demands.
Joining Napa Rose offers an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a renowned fine dining establishment within one of the world's most beloved resorts. The restaurant not only prioritizes culinary excellence but also provides a supportive and professional work environment where team members are empowered to deliver magical experiences to each guest. With competitive pay, including tips, and select benefits, Napa Rose is committed to recognizing the contributions of its staff and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
