- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- strong guest service and interpersonal skills
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- experience as a sportsbook or mutuels writer/teller preferred
- one year of guest service and cash or credit card processing experience preferred
- bilingual skills preferred
Job Duties
- Accurately write, verify, and issue payments for sports and horse racing wagers in compliance with company policies, state regulations, and federal gaming statutes
- follow all procedures for the sale and payout of tickets
- educate guests on wagering rules, procedures, betting lines, and odds
- maintain and balance a cash bank throughout the shift, reconciling transactions at shift end
- maintain work area cleanliness and ensure adequate inventory of supplies
- address guest questions, concerns, or complaints, escalating as needed
- maintain knowledge of sporting and horse racing events, property promotions, and offerings
