Job Description
Our company is a leading franchised operator in the fast-casual restaurant industry, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards across multiple locations. With our rapid expansion in the Orlando and Miami areas, we are seeking dedicated and experienced District Managers to join our dynamic team. Our franchise network prides itself on maintaining strong brand integrity, delivering quality food, and providing outstanding customer service, which has enabled us to achieve tremendous growth in competitive markets.
The role of District Manager, also referred to as Multi-Unit Restaurant Manager, is crucial to our operational success. Reporting directly to the franchisee, district manager, or director of operations, the District Manager oversees the performance and development of approximately 5 to 8 restaurant units. This leadership position plays a vital part in coaching and guiding restaurant managers to ensure every location meets or exceeds brand operational and food safety standards. The District Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, maximizing profitability, and enhancing guest satisfaction through consistent excellence in restaurant operations.
This position demands a proactive leader who excels in managing multiple units simultaneously, analyzing sales data to make informed decisions, and executing strategic business plans that align with corporate objectives. The District Manager cultivates a collaborative and motivated team environment, supports marketing initiatives, and ensures proper implementation of new products and promotional activities across all restaurants under their leadership. Additionally, the role requires ongoing engagement with Dunkin Brands’ Field Operations team to foster alignment and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing restaurant management teams, conducting performance appraisals, and providing coaching to enhance managerial capabilities. The District Manager is expected to act as a role model by demonstrating all duties of restaurant team members and managers when necessary. Strong communication and leadership skills, coupled with the ability to identify local market trends and competitor activity, are essential for success in this role. A collaborative spirit and dedication to guest service excellence are core to driving the team’s success and upholding the brand’s reputation.
Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of multi-unit management experience within the restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors and have basic computer, math, and financial management skills. While a college degree is preferred, relevant experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments is highly valued. This role is ideal for individuals who embrace change, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and are passionate about leading teams to achieve operational excellence.
The employment type is full-time with a competitive salary commensurate with experience. As an integral part of our growth strategy, the District Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of our restaurant portfolio in the Orlando and Miami markets, helping to elevate the guest experience and optimize overall business performance.
