Job Requirements
- Minimum of eight to ten years restaurant experience with multi-unit management for at least three to five years
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient in reading and understanding policy documents, menus, and brand standards
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and company correspondence
- Flexibility to work varied and rotating schedules including opening, peak, and closing shifts
- Demonstrated leadership skills to coach and develop staff
- Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards according to federal, state, and local laws
Job Qualifications
- Documented multi-unit restaurant management experience for a minimum of three to five years depending on zone size
- Overall restaurant experience of eight to ten years
- Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for experience
- Strong team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, service, quality, and operational standards
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Experience with budget control and financial accountability
Job Duties
- Ensure all general managers and staff prepare each restaurant for next-day opening by executing closing and opening checklists
- Schedule and deploy managers to provide leadership during all operating hours
- Support and coach restaurant staff to achieve business goals while promoting diversity and inclusion
- Interview, hire, promote, and terminate associates within the zone and ensure compliance with badging and onboarding policies
- Analyze financial and operational reports to monitor zone performance and assign associates accordingly
- Collaborate regularly with senior operations leadership to communicate goals and address operational issues
- Manage product availability, equipment maintenance, and supplier relations to ensure smooth restaurant operations
