Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- availability to work a variety of required retail hours
- physical ability to stand frequently and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or additional job experience
- six months of related experience
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation
- proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job
- knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- ability to operate equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, forklifts if certified
Job Duties
- Operate the check-stand according to company policy and procedures
- memorize PLU codes and keep up to date with new products
- order, receive, unload, stock and rotate product onto shelves and cases in center store operations
- merchandise product and perform Point-Of-Sale and inventory activities
- receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment and quality
- trim, wash, and wrap produce according to company policy
- stock, rotate, and merchandise produce to maintain freshness and department appeal
- maintain floral area and keep equipment clean
- weigh, wrap, package, and label meat and seafood products for display
- provide customer service at the seafood counter
- take special orders such as custom cuts
- operate slicers and wrappers
- prepare, weigh, package, and label bakery and deli products
- take special orders for cakes and party trays
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store
- sweep and mop sales floor, back rooms, refrigerated areas
- clean restrooms, break room, office areas, shelving, cases, and front end equipment
- operate janitorial equipment like scrubbers and buffers
- may operate forklift and baler if authorized and certified
- perform other duties as assigned
