The role of Multi-Property Custodian at Goldmark is a critical position responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and upkeep of multiple residential properties. This position plays a key role in preserving the "sparkling clean" image of the properties, which directly impacts resident satisfaction and the appeal to potential residents. The custodian works under the guidance of the Assistant Property Manager and handles housekeeping tasks that include turn cleaning of vacant units and maintaining common areas. The starting pay for this hourly position is $16, with opportunities for higher wages depending on experience. This job offers a unique engagement in hands-on cleaning duties across various locations within the property portfolio, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
As a custodial team member, responsibilities include cleaning hallways, stairways, landings, and common area floors through dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and washing marks from surfaces. Maintaining glass entry doors, windows, and extinguisher cases ensures the property looks its best. The custodian is also responsible for garbage disposal in laundry rooms and other common areas, contributing to an attractive curb appeal. Additional duties include cleaning washers and dryers, wiping mailboxes, and addressing any visible areas needing attention in restrooms or common spaces. Candidates must handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.

Job Duties
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all common areas including hallways, stairways, and landings
- Cleaning includes vacuuming, dusting baseboards, washing marks off the walls, and mopping the entryway floors and laundry room floors
- Clean glass entry doors, windows, windowsills, and extinguisher cases
- Dispose of garbage from laundry room trash
- Disposal of all paper, pop cans, etc. within 24 hours in all common areas
- Responsible for removing any debris and aiding the maintenance of acceptable curb appeal of the property
- Clean washers/dryers, particularly under washer lids
- Clean behind and alongside washers/dryers
- Wipe down top of mailboxes and remove any paper taped to the walls
- Clean any other obvious areas that need attention in the common areas and restrooms
