With over 4,000 skilled professionals, Acuren serves a vast range of major industries, including petroleum refinery, pipeline, power generation, pulp and paper, mining, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and automotive sectors. The company's commitment to a Higher Level of Reliability is demonstrated through its comprehensive suite of capabilities such as inspection, traditional and advanced NDE/NDT (Nondestructive Examination/Nondestructive Testing), failure analysis, rope access, materials engineering, field engineering, reliability engineering, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies including drones and robotics. This broad spectrum of expertise ensures that clients receive precise, reliable assessments that help maintain the safety and functionality of vital infrastructure.

Acuren has built its reputation on a foundation of certified, well-equipped personnel led by experienced professionals who prioritize safety, quality, and professionalism. The company is nationally recognized as a market leader and continues to pursue technological innovations and rigorous safety protocols to provide incident-free work environments. This commitment supports both client objectives and employee satisfaction by ensuring reliability and minimizing risks in industrial operations.

The role of Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician at Acuren involves supporting inspection operations primarily within Augusta, GA, and surrounding areas. This is a callout/travel position requiring candidates to be flexible and mobile, able to travel up to 75% throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. The technician will operate in diverse environments including pulp and paper plants, gas plants, refineries, and pharmaceutical facilities. The position offers a competitive salary along with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified applicants, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced NDT professionals.

As a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment, conducting tests to ensure the quality and detect any discontinuities or defects. This role demands strict adherence to safety regulations and standards while applying specific testing criteria. Technicians are also expected to establish appropriate examination techniques, interpret radiographs, digital readouts, conductivity meters, and other visual indicators accurately, and maintain organized documentation of test results. The position may also involve specialized inspections, supervising or instructing junior technicians, and performing other management-assigned tasks.

This role requires a solid technical background with certifications in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT), and Visual Testing (VT) at Level II. Candidates should have experience in effectively interpreting inspection results, knowledge of various NDT equipment, and demonstrable competence in report writing. Having some post-secondary education or technical training is preferred, but a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Acuren values professionals who seek to deliver excellence within a supportive, professional work environment and who are willing to travel extensively to meet client requirements. If you are a dedicated NDT technician looking to advance your career in a dynamic, safety-focused company with market leadership and an extensive support system, this position offers an ideal match.
