Job Requirements
- Must have friendly and pleasant attitude towards guests and co-workers
- Must have detailed knowledge of beverage and food service steps
- Ability to recite beverage and food menu specifications, grades, and preparations
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and restaurant food menu
- Ability to carry large trays up to 35 lbs with one hand
- Basic math skills to operate cash register and handle money
- Basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers
- Manual dexterity to prepare garnishes and mix drinks
- Ability to communicate in English with guests
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to use Micros POS system
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
- 1-2 years bartending experience required
- Prior restaurant experience required
- Ability to obtain required licenses or certificates
- Bartending certificate required
- TIPS certification preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beverages and supplies
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and perishables
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and document drink orders
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control
- Input orders at point of sale and create a check for each guest
- Maintain service area cleanliness and stock levels
- Assist in providing beverage and food service to guests in the bar area
