Be at least 21 years of age
obtain and maintain valid gaming license
obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
demonstrate effective communication skills with guests and team members
be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
maintain a clean and professional appearance
possess resilience and ability to work harmoniously with others

Job Qualifications

must be at least 21 years of age
demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external guests effectively
must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
familiarity and product knowledge of beverages, wines, and garnishes

Job Duties

Deliver internal and external guest service the Boyd Gaming way
exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor
maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
maintain bar stock and supply levels
assist bartender with tasks such as replenishing fruit trays and stocking liquor
check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
take beverage orders from serving staff or patrons
assist guests with beverage and food selection with complete product knowledge
measure drinks using Berg system or jigger
serve beverages with proper garnishes
deliver beverage orders promptly
participate in liquor glassware removal in compliance with regulations
account for and collect payment using POS system
clean and stock glassware and bar equipment
maintain lounge and bar area cleanliness
provide responsible alcohol service
slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
receive and deliver orders to appropriate venue
adhere to Health Department and liquor regulations
maintain sanitary and safe work areas
complete opening, closing and side duties
maintain neat and clean appearance
handle difficult guest interactions professionally
follow Standard Operating Procedures
perform all duties as assigned by management
