Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year bartending or related experience
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Valid state certification if required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Ability to operate bar equipment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state law
  • Knowledge of ingredients for various mixed drinks
  • Knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Experience handling cash and credit card transactions
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use blender, coffee maker, sharp knives, ice machine, refrigerator, dishwasher
  • High school diploma required
  • Specialty or technical training preferred
  • 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • T.A.B.C. certification required

Job Duties

  • Verify identification and age requirements of guest and members
  • Mix traditional and creative cocktails
  • Process payments
  • Clean glasses and bar utensils
  • Provide food and beverage suggestions based on guest or member tastes and preferences
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout the shift
