Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • at least one month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
  • ability to perform basic math operations and understand time and rate systems
  • ability to safely operate vehicles and perform parking maneuvers
  • ability to work morning shifts
  • physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • ability to provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and employees
  • ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
  • ability to perform mathematical operations using American money units
  • ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names during interactions
  • use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • shuttle guests to approved locations
  • explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
