Learning Care Group, Inc. stands as North America's second-largest for-profit childcare provider and a recognized leader in early childhood education. Our company delivers specialized educational programs catering to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years through a diverse family of trusted brands. At Learning Care Group, we are committed to excellence, reflected in our state-of-the-art facilities, enhanced by advanced technology and carefully designed curriculum developed by our in-house Education team. We believe in creating an enriching learning environment that supports children's holistic development while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

This approach fosters early preparation for school readiness and cultivates a lifelong passion for learning. Our goal is to establish a strong foundation that propels children toward future academic achievement and personal success.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Food Service Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Food Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the nutritional needs of children and staff within our childcare settings. You will be responsible for planning and preparing meals and snacks, distributing food safely and efficiently, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

This position requires organization and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining food and supply inventories and ordering as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher or Floater, reflecting our commitment to a collaborative and supportive work environment. Your contribution directly supports children's health and developmental needs, reinforcing our philosophy of nurturing the whole child.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cooking or food preparation, preferably in a licensed childcare facility or Montessori school. A familiarity with state and local regulations pertaining to food service and childcare is essential, along with flexibility regarding work hours and schedules. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. Join Learning Care Group and become a vital part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and education in a nurturing and engaging environment.
