Job Requirements

Minimum of one year prior monitor tech experience in a health care setting preferred
high school diploma or equivalent
current BLS certification
CPI required within 30 days of hire
ability to perform duties as outlined
strong communication skills
basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

Minimum of one year prior monitor tech experience in a health care setting preferred
thorough computer skills
proper telephone and interpersonal skills
high school diploma or equivalent
medical terminology course preferred
basic dysrhythmia class preferred
computer education preferred
current BLS certification
CPI required within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

Monitor all patients on telemetry
project a good public image
function as department receptionist by answering telephones and interacting with staff and physicians
maintain a courteous and professional attitude
ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information
support the health care team as directed
comply with hospital policies and procedures
