Today, Monday Night Brewing operates several locations: two taprooms in Atlanta, a brewpub in Birmingham, Alabama, full-service taprooms in Nashville, Tennessee, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Knoxville, Tennessee. The role available is for part-time Bartenders at their Monday Night Garage taproom located in the West End Historic District of Atlanta. This position focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality and fostering memorable guest experiences while serving a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and pizza options. Bartenders are expected to bring enthusiasm, a deep knowledge of beer styles, cocktail preparation, and pizza offerings, alongside a commitment to complying with alcohol laws and maintaining a safe, friendly environment. Beyond technical skills, the role demands a positive, adaptable, and team-oriented individual who thrives on creating a welcoming environment for patrons.
As a part-time Bartender for Monday Night Brewing, you will not only serve drinks but also represent the brand’s values and mission to deepen relationships over outstanding craft beer. This role involves interaction with diverse guests, managing point-of-sale transactions, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the taproom and surrounding areas, and supporting special events. The position requires a flexible schedule with 3 to 4 weekend shifts a month and involvement in major public events held throughout the year.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Experience in bartending or restaurant service
- passion for craft beer and knowledge of beer styles
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing needs
- familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to learn about beer, cocktails, and food offerings
- high level of enthusiasm and professionalism
Job Duties
- Serve guests beer and crafted cocktails through a draft system
- sell brewery merchandise and packaged beer
- execute all aspects of the cocktail program including batching cocktails and preparing garnishes
- use a Point-of-Sale system to ring up transactions and manage open bar tabs
- enforce tasting room and brewery rules and regulations
- clean and prep the tasting room, grounds, parking lot, and restrooms before and after shifts
- work closely with General Manager, Head Bartender, and Venue Coordinator during private events
- bartend when the taproom is open to the public
- provide excellent customer experience to create brand loyalty
- cultivate positive work environments by being an adaptable team-player
- work 3-4 weekends per month
- support larger public events with staging, bartending, and breakdown
- remain knowledgeable of pizza kitchen items to upsell
- perform all opening and closing tasks as per SOPs
- complete assigned training via Schoox
- perform other duties as assigned
