Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or ged
  • flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
  • must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail
  • effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people
  • proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • must be able to withstand extreme sun and heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day
  • ability to read and interpret documents in english, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • ability to read and communicate verbally in english
  • written communication skills in in english may also be required
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations: nevada gaming license (club venue), nevada alcohol awareness card, and nevada health card are required

Job Duties

  • enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
  • responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management
  • provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere
  • provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage

  • places order with bartender, inspects order for quality, collects and adds appropriate garnish, places on tray and serves to patrons
  • upsells and suggestively sells menu items, specials and beverages at all times
  • performs prep tasks when not serving guests by helping to stock items or clean work areas
  • enforces customer limit regulations in a firm and courteous manner
  • performs other job-related duties as assigned
