Job Requirements
- less than high school education or one month related experience training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if driving company vehicle
- availability to work 2nd shift 3rd shift and weekends if required
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to present information effectively in one-on-one situations
- ability to add subtract multiply and divide two-digit numbers including use of American money units
- neat and clean appearance with uniform at all times
- ability to stand walk use hands occasionally sit climb balance and lift or move up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- direct incoming customers to available parking spaces
- count vehicles on location throughout shift as needed
- write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies
- patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts if applicable
- provide assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
- be at work every scheduled day on time and in uniform
- courteously assist customers by answering questions and directing to facility manager if necessary
- control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
- assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed
- report accidents, observed or suspected violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the facility manager
- communicate debris, water, oil spills to garage office
- substitute for valets when necessary if authorized
- have thorough knowledge of garage areas, major streets, landmarks and freeways
- assist facility manager with other duties as needed
