The Mixologist/Bartender role at Main Event - Lexington offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-oriented team committed to delivering superior guest experiences. This position is available both full time and part time, providing flexibility to fit diverse schedules. The primary responsibility of the Mixologist/Bartender is to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring all service complies with state laws and company policies. In this role, the bartender will engage directly with guests, receiving drink orders accurately, crafting cocktail mixes, and maintaining a welcoming environment throughout the shift.
Beyond mixing drinks, the Mixologist/Bartender will also manage point of sale (POS) transactions efficiently, handle inventory control by ordering and restocking supplies, and ensure the cleanliness and proper storage of bar tools and equipment. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a lively setting. Employees are expected to perform opening, closing, and side work duties to uphold high operational standards.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- legal right to work in the United States
- ability to stand for extended periods
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail preparation
- good communication and interpersonal abilities
- ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Receives drink orders from guests or servers
- mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wine, bottled beer, and draught beer
- serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all laws and company alcohol service policies and procedures
- enters drink and/or food orders into POS terminal and collects payment from guests
- completes sales and inventory reports accurately
- maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies
- cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock
- performs opening closing, and side work duties, as assigned
