Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • post-secondary education in hospitality business or management
  • certification in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • mixology or bartending certifications preferred
  • several years of bartending or mixology experience
  • at least 2-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • expertise in developing original cocktail recipes including house-made syrups cordials infusions and garnishes
  • experience with inventory control cost management and P&L statements
  • advanced knowledge of spirits wines and beers
  • strong customer service orientation
  • familiarity with health safety and sanitation regulations
  • competence with bar equipment POS systems and inventory management tools
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • creative flair and attention to detail
  • proficiency in financial and operational management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in hospitality business or management
  • certification in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS ServSafe Alcohol
  • additional mixology or bartending certifications are a plus such as WSET
  • several years of bartending or mixology experience with at least 2-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a hospitality setting
  • demonstrated expertise in developing original cocktail recipes including house-made syrups cordials infusions and garnishes
  • experience with inventory control cost management and understanding of profit and loss statements
  • advanced knowledge of spirits wines beers and current beverage trends
  • strong customer service orientation with the ability to create memorable guest experiences and resolve guest concerns professionally
  • familiarity with health safety and sanitation regulations including responsible alcohol service practices
  • competence with bar equipment POS systems and inventory management tools
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging guests and leading a team
  • creative flair and attention to detail in drink presentation and menu development
  • proficiency in financial and operational management including the ability to analyze P&L statements manage budgets and implement cost-saving measures

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain a dynamic beverage menu featuring signature cocktails seasonal offerings and creative non-alcoholic options
  • create and produce house-made ingredients including syrups cordials infusions tinctures and garnishes ensuring high quality and consistency
  • train and mentor the bar team on mixology techniques product knowledge and the use of in-house ingredients
  • demonstrate expert-level bartending skills and provide outstanding guest service at the bar
  • collaborate with the culinary team to develop food and beverage pairings and support special events
  • stay current with industry trends emerging products and innovative mixology techniques
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to all health and safety standards
