Job Description
Jumeirah is a global leader in luxury hospitality and a prestigious member of Dubai Holding, managing an exceptional portfolio of 29 properties across 11 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The brand significantly changed the face of luxury hospitality starting in 1999 with the opening of the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, and it has since become renowned worldwide for its distinguished beachfront resorts, esteemed city hotels, and exclusive residences. Jumeirah’s properties range from the contemporary Maldivian island paradise of Jumeirah Olhahali Island to the art-inspired Jumeirah Capri Palace in Italy, and the modern take on a British classic at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London. The brand is synonymous with warm and generous service, carefully crafted distinctive experiences, and consistently delivering joy to guests from all over the globe.
The current opportunity is for a Mixologist to join the Italian/Mediterranean restaurant at Jumeirah The Red Sea. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of Jumeirah’s food and beverage service. The Mixologist will be expected to consistently deliver top-quality drinks and ensure impeccable customer satisfaction. The role involves managing stock levels, setting up the bar before service, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment that complements the luxurious ambiance of the hotel. Additionally, the Mixologist will strictly adhere to local licensing laws, promoting responsible alcohol service practices among both staff and patrons.
Key responsibilities include proficiency in cashing up and handling transactions accurately, staying informed on the latest local and international bar trends and new products, and being well-versed in both classic and innovative cocktails. The Mixologist will also provide dedicated training to staff, sharing knowledge of product portfolios and brand standards to uphold service excellence across the outlet. This is a unique opportunity to work in a world-class hospitality brand with an environment that supports growth and professional development while delivering exceptional guest experiences in one of the most sought-after locations in the hospitality industry.
