Job Requirements

  • Experience in the service industry
  • Experience working as a bartender
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
  • Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in the service industry such as restaurant, bar, or hospitality
  • Experience working as a bartender
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)
  • Working knowledge of standard drink recipes
  • Working knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
  • Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names, and garnishments
  • Working knowledge of bar equipment
  • Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong ability to create an immersive experience through storytelling, entertaining, and engaging customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive working relationships
  • Additional languages are beneficial
  • Knowledge and education in mixology an advantage

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for bar customers
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to recipes
  • Peel, slice, and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
  • Manage the service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
