The Mixologist position at Tropicana Field is a dynamic role tailored for someone with a passion for crafting high-quality cocktails and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in beverage service or bartending preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a mixologist, bartender, or in a related role preferred
  • Knowledge of cocktails, liquors, garnishes and drink preparation techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and create memorable guest experiences
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws

Job Duties

  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Prepare select cocktails in front of guests mixing ingredients, using advanced techniques (stirring, shaking, muddling)
  • Interact with fans, offering recommendations based on flavor preferences, and explaining cocktail ingredients and history
  • Engage with fans and provide a memorable experience
  • Sets up assigned bar
  • requisitions and stocks all spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
  • Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
  • Takes and/or processes orders for drinks
  • mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes
  • practices prudent portion control
  • Checks guests at the bar for proper identification
  • Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
  • Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws
  • Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
  • keeps work area clean and organized
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
  • Washes and sterilizes stemware
