The company prides itself on its diverse ownership and management structure, providing a unique blend of owned, managed, and franchised properties that deliver high-quality hospitality experiences. This global presence not only highlights Sonesta’s commitment to excellence but also its ability to adapt and thrive in a competitive marketplace, driven by a culture that encourages team collaboration and personal growth.

The Bartender role at The Preston, located inside the historic Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza in the vibrant Central West End of St. Louis, offers more than just a position behind the bar. It is an opportunity to become part of an iconic destination known for blending modern sophistication with a rich legacy of celebrated hospitality. The Preston provides an elevated bar experience, combining curated cocktails and an upscale dining atmosphere where both locals and travelers converge to create memorable moments daily. This role requires someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys meaningful connections with guests, and thrives in an environment that values both personality and technical precision.

This role demands a strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and teamwork, contributing to the vibrant social energy that defines The Preston and reinforces Sonesta’s reputation for exceptional hospitality.

The Bartender will also be expected to manage inventory, uphold cleanliness and organization behind the bar, and collaborate effectively with restaurant and hotel staff to deliver seamless service. This is a flexible, demanding role requiring evening, weekend, and holiday availability, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. Sonesta International Hotels offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits to support and reward its employees, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
