Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of bartending experience
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in a fast-paced bar or restaurant

Job Duties

  • Design and craft innovative, seasonal, and signature cocktails that align with the bar's theme and target demographic
  • Develop recipes using a variety of spirits, fresh ingredients, and garnishes, with a focus on quality, presentation, and creativity
  • Ensure that all cocktails are consistently made to the highest standards, maintaining an exceptional customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the cocktail industry, incorporating new techniques, ingredients, and styles into the bar's offerings
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring it runs efficiently and profitably
  • Manage the bar's budget, including monitoring costs for inventory, wages, and other resources
  • Order and maintain bar supplies and inventory, including liquor, mixers, and glassware
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations, including age restrictions and alcohol service laws
  • Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for bar staff
  • Recruit, train, and motivate bartenders and other bar staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to provide top-tier customer service
  • Conduct regular training sessions on cocktail preparation, customer service, product knowledge, and bar safety
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Lead by example in providing excellent service and upholding the brand's standards
  • Engage directly with guests when needed, offering recommendations, creating personalized drink experiences, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, maintaining a positive relationship with patrons
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and comfortable in the bar environment, promoting a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional events, cocktail features, and special offerings to attract and retain customers
  • Help plan and execute bar-related events such as happy hours, cocktail competitions, tastings, or live entertainment
  • Promote the bar's unique offerings through social media, community engagement, and other channels
  • Monitor sales and expenses, working within budgetary constraints to maximize profitability
  • Track and analyze financial performance of the bar, making adjustments to improve efficiency and revenue generation
  • Implement pricing strategies that align with market trends while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction
