Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred
- Ability to obtain all necessary certifications for alcohol service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with legal drinking age regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous work history as a bartender is desirable
- Familiarity with basic principles of mixology, drink formulas, and latest developments in bartending
- Capable of obtaining all essential Aramark and state or local-mandated certifications for alcohol service
- Exhibits outstanding hospitality through exceptional friendliness and thorough understanding of beverages
- Displays adeptness in coordinating tasks efficiently with accuracy and keen eye for detail
- Physical ability for occasional lifting, transporting, pushing, or dragging items up to 25 lbs
- Thrives in a lively and high-energy work atmosphere
- Flexibility in availability for shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Address customers, record their preferences, and handle financial transactions using both cash and credit cards
- Blend and present a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Give out drinks to servers from the service well, when needed
- Abide by the alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with safe drinking recommendations, such as verifying patrons' IDs to confirm legal drinking age
- Follow established rules and processes for handling money
- Arrange and disassemble work areas, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure products are adequately replenished
- Provide top-notch guest service by proactively catering to guests' requirements and ensuring their satisfaction
- Display a positive outlook when dealing with visitors, patrons, and coworkers
- Safeguard the integrity of corporate assets
