We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Beverage Server to join our dynamic team at the Scottsdale Curio Resort & Spa lounge. This full-time position offers flexibility with any shift available and provides a competitive salary within the hospitality industry. The Beverage Server will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experience by providing courteous, timely, and efficient beverage and food service. This role demands excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, taking and documenting orders accurately, and preparing beverages to meet established quality standards. Additionally, the Beverage Server acts as a cashier, ensuring accurate transaction handling and balancing the cash register. Maintaining the bar’s setup, stocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring cleanliness are integral duties of this role. Attention to safety and adherence to company policies will be essential, as well as following all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Hold a current Food Handler Card
Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor laws
Basic English language proficiency
Basic math skills for cash handling
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to stand and walk continuously during shift
Good manual dexterity
Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance
Physical ability for frequent bending, twisting, stooping and reaching
Ability to work any shift as required

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
Hold a current Food Handler Card
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks and prepare cash drops
Basic English language writing skills necessary for completion of requisitions and vouchers
Sufficient manual dexterity to use a knife for garnishing and to handle glassware and bottles
Basic knowledge of English to understand customer inquiries and communicate instructions
Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items
Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers

Job Duties

Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and document orders for drinks
Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on daily function projections
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all monies
Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
Answer bar phone within three rings, correctly and courteously take room service orders, input orders into register and create guest checks to maintain beverage accountability
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Follow safety and security procedures and rules
Maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as per team member handbook
Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
Assist other beverage personnel as needed
