Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or related field preferred
- Must be able to obtain necessary certifications for alcohol service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to occasionally lift, transport, push or drag items weighing up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least the legal drinking age in the jurisdiction of employment
Job Qualifications
- Previous work history as a bartender is desirable for this position
- Familiarity with the basic principles of mixology, drink formulas and the latest developments in the field of bartending
- Capable of obtaining all essential Aramark and state or local-mandated certifications for alcohol service
- Exhibits outstanding hospitality through exceptional friendliness and a thorough understanding of a wide range of beverages
- Displays adeptness in coordinating tasks efficiently, maintaining accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Thrives in a lively and high-energy work atmosphere
- Flexibility in availability to work different shifts, such as evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Address customers, record their preferences and handle financial transactions using both cash and credit cards
- Blend and present a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Give out drinks to servers from the service well when needed
- Abide by the alcohol service policies in place and ensure compliance with safe drinking recommendations such as verifying patrons' IDs to confirm they are of legal drinking age
- Abide by the established rules and processes for handling money
- Arrange and disassemble work areas ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure products are adequately replenished
- Provide top-notch guest service by proactively catering to guests' requirements and ensuring their contentment
- Display a positive outlook when dealing with visitors, patrons and coworkers
- Safeguard the integrity of corporate assets
