Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bartending or related field preferred
  • Must be able to obtain necessary certifications for alcohol service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to occasionally lift, transport, push or drag items weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least the legal drinking age in the jurisdiction of employment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous work history as a bartender is desirable for this position
  • Familiarity with the basic principles of mixology, drink formulas and the latest developments in the field of bartending
  • Capable of obtaining all essential Aramark and state or local-mandated certifications for alcohol service
  • Exhibits outstanding hospitality through exceptional friendliness and a thorough understanding of a wide range of beverages
  • Displays adeptness in coordinating tasks efficiently, maintaining accuracy and a keen eye for detail
  • Thrives in a lively and high-energy work atmosphere
  • Flexibility in availability to work different shifts, such as evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Address customers, record their preferences and handle financial transactions using both cash and credit cards
  • Blend and present a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
  • Give out drinks to servers from the service well when needed
  • Abide by the alcohol service policies in place and ensure compliance with safe drinking recommendations such as verifying patrons' IDs to confirm they are of legal drinking age
  • Abide by the established rules and processes for handling money
  • Arrange and disassemble work areas ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
  • Conduct inventory checks and ensure products are adequately replenished
  • Provide top-notch guest service by proactively catering to guests' requirements and ensuring their contentment
  • Display a positive outlook when dealing with visitors, patrons and coworkers
  • Safeguard the integrity of corporate assets
