This creates a workplace where employees genuinely enjoy coming to work every day, feeling valued and motivated to contribute to the company's success.

The role of Mixing Technician at Cosmos Corporation is a vital position within the Mixing department responsible for preparing batches of raw materials for production according to detailed specifications and established procedures. This position requires precision in measuring and weighing ingredients, whether manually with scales or using automated equipment, to ensure the accurate formulation of products. Mixing Technicians also play a key role in maintaining production equipment by cleaning and sanitizing tanks, filters, pipes, lines, and pumps to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Attention to safety procedures is critical, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment when necessary.

Mixing Technicians are involved in many important tasks such as manufacturing products based on batch records, checking inventory, staging raw materials, setting up and dismantling equipment for cleaning, labeling containers correctly, and collecting samples for laboratory analysis. Accuracy in documentation is essential; technicians must complete all batch records and inventory transactions meticulously to support quality assurance efforts. The role demands the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot small-scale production issues, contributing to consistent output that meets company expectations.

Working full-time on the first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., this position also requires physical stamina as it involves standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting materials up to 60 pounds, and working in environments subject to temperature variations and moderate noise. The use of various production equipment such as mixing tanks, Pack Mule, forklifts, and scissor lifts is part of the daily responsibilities.

Cosmos Corporation supports its employees with attractive benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) contributions, and opportunities for professional growth. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer committed to a discrimination-free workplace where all hiring decisions are based strictly on qualifications and business needs.
