As a Mixing Operator II at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, you will play a critical role within the pharmaceutical manufacturing team by operating and maintaining advanced mixing equipment essential for producing bulk liquid pharmaceuticals. This position is vital in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and compliance of all mixing processes aligning with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The hourly wage for this role ranges from $19.50 to $26.50, and it includes a short-term incentive opportunity such as bonuses or performance-based awards within the first 12 months of employment.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing mixing equipment, performing cleaning and operational procedures, accurately documenting batch records, and verifying calibration of all relevant equipment. You will work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure timely and efficient workflow while maintaining rigorous compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The position demands attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues, with escalation to maintenance for complex problems. Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years proven related experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment if less than high school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate English communication skills required
  • Intermediate math and mechanical skills
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Job Duties

  • Operate mixing equipment according to established protocols, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to cGMP guidelines
  • Maintain 100% compliance with cGMP regulations and company SOPs during all mixing processes
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of equipment to guarantee its accuracy and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues, escalating complex problems to the maintenance team
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all mixing activities, including batch records and equipment logs, ensuring data integrity
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Production teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely production
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting innovative ideas for process enhancements and equipment upgrades
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment, promoting a culture of safety
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and trends in mixing technology to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
