This position, Mixer Technician - 1st Shift, is based in Thomasville, North Carolina, and offers an excellent opportunity to join Quanex’s dynamic production team. The Mixer Technician plays a critical role in the production process by preparing batch materials according to production orders, ensuring that mixed materials are delivered efficiently to the production lines for final manufacturing. Working Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, this role offers a desirable four-day workweek schedule. The hourly wage for this position is $17.00 per hour.

The role involves precise mixing of raw materials according to specified formulas, operating machinery such as mixers and forklifts, and maintaining records of material weights, formulas, and batch numbers. The Mixer Technician ensures the quality and consistency of materials by inspecting for contamination or defects and making necessary adjustments to meet production and quality standards. Working closely with production teams, the technician manages inventory levels, addresses shortages promptly, and operates mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
