The role of Mixer Operator at SRM Concrete is essential to the company's operations, focusing on the efficient and safe production of concrete products. As a Mixer Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating concrete mixer trucks, loading and mixing concrete according to precise specifications, and delivering the product to various construction sites while maintaining exceptional customer service. Duties include conducting pre-and post-operation vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery and maintenance records, and working closely with the dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient routing of deliveries. Job Requirements

  • Education level not specifically stated
  • Must hold an active CDL Class A or B license
  • Must have a current DOT medical card
  • Ability to safely operate heavy machinery
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Consent to background checks including Clearinghouse and MVR checks

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Proven safe driving record
  • Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in varying weather conditions
  • No unexplained gaps in employment history
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and adaptability
  • Previous experience as a mixer operator or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete products
  • Load and mix concrete ingredients by following specific job orders and company protocols
  • Ensure timely delivery of concrete products to construction sites, maintaining courteous and professional interaction with the customers and the public
  • Conduct pre-and post-operation checks on the mixer truck to ensure its proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all team members and the public
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other relevant documentation as required
  • Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure efficient scheduling and routing of deliveries
  • Assist in other duties as assigned, which may include general maintenance tasks or supporting other team members in the production process
